[jira] [Commented] (FALCON-131) Remove set -e from falcon scripts

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FALCON-131?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13774214#comment-13774214 ]

Suresh Srinivas commented on FALCON-131:
----------------------------------------

Looks like FALCON-107 removed set -e from the service-start.sh. However, I think we should handle error conditions in the script instead of using "set -e". Here is a link that discusses the issues/inconsistencies related to the use of "set -e" - http://mywiki.wooledge.org/BashFAQ/105.

If folks agree I will post a patch that removes set -e from all the falcon scripts.
