[jira] [Created] (IMPALA-7650) Enable Kerberos by default for mini-cluster test

Michael Ho created IMPALA-7650:
----------------------------------

Summary: Enable Kerberos by default for mini-cluster test
                 Key: IMPALA-7650
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/IMPALA-7650
             Project: IMPALA
          Issue Type: Task
          Components: Infrastructure, Security
    Affects Versions: Impala 3.1.0
            Reporter: Michael Ho

By default, all tests in the mini-cluster don't run with Kerberos enabled. This seems bad as a lot of users of Impala actually run with Kerberos enabled. Given that we already have a BE test ([https://github.com/apache/impala/blob/master/be/src/rpc/rpc-mgr-kerberized-test.cc)] which creates a min-kdc on the fly and issues some RPCs, it may be helpful to look into re-using some of those code to set up a Kerberized environment by default for the mini-cluster testing.
