Re: [GUMP@vmgump]: Project xml-batik (in module xml-batik) failed

Hi gumpers.

Sam Ruby:

Batik now uses forrest to build its HTML documentation. It is assumed
to be installed, and is called with an <exec> in the ant build file. Is
there a way this can be made to work with gump?

Thanks,

Cameron

That's fine with me.

Fortunately I haven't found the time to do so so far, thanks

Actually I think Jeremias is right. I’ve modified Batik’s gump file so
that it just builds the jars, not the documentation. So no need to
install forrest (if you haven’t done it yet), Stefan.

Thanks,

Cameron

Is it really necessary to build the full site in Gump? Gump's primary
use (for me anyway) is in highlighting incompatible changes and mistakes
in the code. I'd simply add a "gump" target which does not build the
website.

Since Forrest (indirectly) depends on Batik this means we'll have to
install Forrest somewhere. Unless anybody else beats me to it, I'll
install the latest released version during the next days.

As long as we can't build Cocoon (as long as Gump and Maven2 don't
like to work together) we won't be able to build Forrest anyway.
