[jira] Created: (IMAP-190) StoreMessageManager.search(...) should
allow to be more efficient for implementations
StoreMessageManager.search(...) should allow to be more efficient for implementations
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: IMAP-190
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/IMAP-190
Project: JAMES Imap
Issue Type: Improvement
Reporter: Norman Maurer
Assignee: Norman Maurer
Fix For: 0.1
StreMessageManager.search(...) always use a MessageSearches instance for check if the SearchQuery match. This can be very inefficient for some storages. For example when using JPA or JCR the whole query could get done on the db/jcr tree. We should allow to optimize this easily.
