Tapestry Developers

All,
Sorry is this is a bit rude after only a few posts but...
Our company is looking for 2 developers who have experience developing with
Tapestry and Hivemind to work with us on a contract basis (initially for 2
months) .
The roles will be based in Slough, Berkshire (UK) so you will have to have
to be eligible to work in the UK.
If you are interested please do not reply to this email but send your info
to michael.jones@anite.com
Cheers
Mike

Hi Ron,

I work for a small company in Zagreb, Croatia (www.netgen.hr, but it is
only in Croatian at the moment, so you won't find it very informative):
we've introduced tapestry into our technology pool fairly recently
(about two months ago) and just now the first applications are going
into everyday use.
At the moment, we have 2 tapestry developers (myself and one other) and
are interested in working on as many tapestry projects as we can get in
order to get a better feel for the java/tapestry/cayenne platform and
it's possibilities.
I propose we cooperate because there are strong reasons to do so:
- developer costs here are half as high as a developer in the UK (no
more than 12000 GBP/year, nett) and don't need space or equipment in
your office
- our choice of technology overlaps
- you obviously have (or expect to have) more work than you can
currently handle, and we are working on acquiring more
- we already have some experience in outsourcing (on a couple of
projects in Italy)

Basically, it comes down to your ability to specify requirements
precisely enough (using UML or whatever you use to model your software)
for such a mode of production to be effective and fitting limited
outsourcing into your company's development strategy.

I can easily elaborate further on issues such as establishing trust,
suitable long distance communication media, language issues, choice of
technology, code management, project outsourcing suitability, etc., but
I'll let you ask exactly what you want to know more about.
I apologize sincerely if you consider our offer completely unrelated to
your needs, but please understand that it's hard to estimate how much a
company (in this case, your's) values having developers sit in your office.
Thank you for your time and hope to hear from you soon.

Regards,
Tomislav Nakic-Alfirevic
