Minutes: JDO TCK Conference Call Friday, Jan 13, 9 am Pacific Time
Attendees: Matthew Adams, Michael Bouschen, Craig Russell
Agenda:
1. JDO 3.0.1 release status
The bundle that Matthew uploaded was rejected by maven central but no
diagnostic information was sent back. Repository@apache.org might help.
2. News on new feature idea http://osdir.com/ml/jdo-dev-db-apache/2011-11/msg00002.html
- possible code contribution from 3M
No change. Looks like Tim will need another couple of weeks to get his
company's legal folks to answer.
3. Support for specification of embedded inherited objects, see https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JDO-702
A new test case could be stand alone. No need to update the entire
Company model.
4. What's needed to release 3.1?
Resolved JDO-64.
A number of issues are awaiting specification updates.
5. Is the log4j logging now resolved with the exectck execution? Is
there a summary of tck results printed to console?
Action Items from weeks past:
[April 8 2011] AI Craig comment on https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JDO-617
re the utility of the update operator.
[Sep 23 2011] AI Michael document when changing dependencies (to
DataNucleus) it's necessary to rebuild the exectck project before
running tck.
