[jira] [Created] (RANGER-670) Policy UI to support input of a single value for resources

Madhan Neethiraj created RANGER-670:
---------------------------------------

Summary: Policy UI to support input of a single value for resources
                 Key: RANGER-670
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/RANGER-670
             Project: Ranger
          Issue Type: Sub-task
          Components: admin
    Affects Versions: 0.5.0
            Reporter: Madhan Neethiraj
            Assignee: Gautam Borad

Currently, Ranger Admin policy UI accepts multiple values for each resource-type (like database/table/column/file/topology/..) For tag based policies, the users should be limited to enter only one value for the resource. Since "tag" is modeled as a resource in service-def, the UI can take a hint from 'uiHint' filed in the resource-def - to determine whether to restrict to a single value or allow multiple values. The option can be named like 'is.single.value'
