Please do not use rc1, which is many months old. Use the vc3 build, which is not an official build and hence we cannot list it on the Downloads page, instead, as described here:

https://blogs.apache.org/netbeans/entry/tentative-schedule-for-apache-netbeans

The vc3 build will most likely be the final release of Apache NetBeans (incubating) 9.0.
