[jira] Created: (INFRA-646) svn.apache.org down
svn.apache.org down
-------------------
Key: INFRA-646
URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-646
Project: Infrastructure
Type: Bug
Components: Subversion
Reporter: Raphael Wegmueller
while checking out a project, my subversion client all over sudden could no longer connect to server (https://svn.apache.org)
i'm afraid to say that this happens quite often, and more recently, accompanied by www.apache.org being down, too.

Please don't ever file a jira issue if a service is down. We have nagios monitoring so we know about service downtime before anyone else does.

Garrett Rooney commented on INFRA-646:
--------------------------------------
Minotaur (the machine Subversion runs on) was down earlier today.
It's since been rebooted, but there's an ongoing problem that keeps causing it to crash that needs to be found and fixed.
