To build with an alternate hadoop, use one of these three options: mapr, cdh, hdp
e.g.
mvn install -Pmapr
mapr will build with hadoop-core version 1.0.3-mapr-3.0.0
cdh will build with hadoop-common version 2.0.0-cdh4.4.0
hdp will build with hadoop-common version 2.1.0.2.0.4.0-38
by default, will build with hadoop-core version 1.2.1
