[jira] [Created] (BIGTOP-4067) Fix build failure of Python 2.7 on Rocky Linux 9
Masatake Iwasaki created BIGTOP-4067:
----------------------------------------
Summary: Fix build failure of Python 2.7 on Rocky Linux 9
Key: BIGTOP-4067
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BIGTOP-4067
Project: Bigtop
Issue Type: Bug
Reporter: Masatake Iwasaki
Building Python 2.7 fails due to {{SSLError: [SSL: EE_KEY_TOO_SMALL] ee key too small}} during tests on Rocky Linux 9. Recent OpenSSL bundled by OS distro seems not to allow small size key by default.
The reason why building Python on Rocky Linux 9 is that python2 package was dropped on the RHEL 9 and clones. While migrating to Python 3 is the right solution, it is not yet done.
