[jira] Created: (MAVEN-1607) Add "MAVEN_OPTS" info

Add "MAVEN_OPTS" info
---------------------

         Key: MAVEN-1607
         URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MAVEN-1607
     Project: maven
        Type: Improvement
  Components: documentation
    Reporter: Jeff Jensen
    Priority: Minor

Took some digging to learn how to increase memory for xdoc run. The only way I found was to use the MAVEN_OPTS. I posted to the user list, but no one replied; then I found the opts by looking at the maven.bat file. I could not find docs on the MAVEN_OPTS option. I could be blind though. :-)

[jira] Updated: (MAVEN-1607) Add "MAVEN_OPTS" info

Posted by "Jeff Jensen (JIRA)" <ji...@codehaus.org>.

Jeff Jensen updated MAVEN-1607:
-------------------------------

    Attachment: 1607.txt

Attached is a minor patch to the command line reference page to add a note on MAVEN_OPTS. Felipe conveniently just posted the debug with Eclipse note too, so I included that example.

Another option is to place the new MAVEN_OPTS text on its own references page.
