[jira] [Created] (ZOOKEEPER-1592) support deleting a node silently
Jimmy Xiang created ZOOKEEPER-1592:
--------------------------------------
Summary: support deleting a node silently
Key: ZOOKEEPER-1592
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ZOOKEEPER-1592
Project: ZooKeeper
Issue Type: Improvement
Reporter: Jimmy Xiang
Sometimes, we want to delete a node. But we are not sure if the node exists or not. In this case, we want the delete method succeed instead of throwing a NoNodeException. Although we can have a wrapper method to do it, it should be better to build this in to ZK.
