> There are component level metrics (aside from the flow level metrics) that can be retrieved and published through C2 protocol or through 3rd party metrics publishers in the future. For example GetFile and GetTCP protocols have their corresponding GetFileMetrics and GetTCPMetrics. These metrics collect the same generic processor metrics like trigger invocation count which could be generalized. We should come up with a generic solution to collect non-function specific processor metrics that could retrieved from any processor.
