API for a Web editor for Spark

Hi,

I am checking how difficult it would be to develop a Web Query Editor
(similar to a Hue app) for typing and executing some Shark scripts.

I looked for some Thrift interfaces or at the Python shell but could not
find a definite API for remote clients. Does this one already exist though?
(sorry still a bit unfamiliar with the project)
