Is it possible to access just the jetspeed banner?

I have an application which runs in frames. My banner is just a simple logo.
What I would like to do is display the jetspeed banner (including its menu)
in this application top frame. (To clarify, I am NOT trying to auto-login
between services)

Is it currently possible to get this from a URL?

I tried creating a suitable banner in
.../WEB-INF/templates/vm/layouts/html/JetspeedBanner.vm which is mostly a
copy of the default.vm with everything below the banner deleted. Note that I
would like to leave the dynamic menus in place so they are different for a
non-logged in user.
