log4j:ERROR No appenders could be found for category

Do you know why I get this error regarding the log4j stuff?  I am using
TOMCAT with jdk1.4

And decoupled torque and fulcrum without turbine

 

Starting service Tomcat-Standalone

Apache Tomcat/4.0.3

initializing torque...

initializing fulcrum...

log4j:ERROR No appenders could be found for category
(org.apache.fulcrum.TurbineServices).

log4j:ERROR Please initialize the log4j system properly.

Starting service Tomcat-Apache

Apache Tomcat/4.0.3
