Mailing list archive

Hi all,

where do I have to ask whether an archive of a mailing list can be created? 
I asked

mailto:webguy@theaimsgroup.com?subject=Add a list to MARC

about adding a list to http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/ but there was no 
feedback. It would be nice to find somebody who archives the

security-dev@xml.apache.org

mailing list.
