javax.servlet.ServletException: Class org.apache.turbine.Turbine is not a Servlet

I found the message below describing my problem in the archives.
Sadly, there was no response. Does someone know how to resolve this
problem?

Thanks,
Chris

Hi all,

I developed a webapp with tdk 2.1 and tried to start with the included
tomcat. Unfortunately I'm getting the stacktrace below in my browser
on first invocation.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong??

Thanks in advance,

Aleks

This is an almost total shot in the dark, but check and make sure you
don't have an extra copy of servlet.jar in your classpath that is
conflicting with the one included in the TDK. I think I had that
problem once upon a time and that was the solution
