Kevin Thanki commented on SHIRO-499:
------------------------------------
Hello, Is there any update on kerberos implementation using shiro... I am still waiting for some out of the box reply from the shiro team..
Is the patch attached with the ticket is working.. I took a look at it but still found some problem in configuring the realm.
I googled to found a single working example of integration of kerberos using shiro but got no luck
Any advice would be appreciable.
Thanks.

> I'm working on adding a Kerberos Realm to Shiro. My approach is to port over the Kerberos support that is in Hadoop and make it work in Shiro.
> Should have a patch this week, I hope, although I am new to Shiro.
