Réf. : RE: example throws SOAPException

> I don't know if you have already got your response, but this kind of
problem comes from a too much new version of Xerces !! Try with Xerces1.2.3

Hi,

I just installed SOAP on tomcat, and am all excited to indulge. For
starters, I tried getting the address book example to work. Though, when I
tried using the ServiceManagerClient, I received an error message that
Fault
elements must contain a faultcode element. Not knowing what to do, I used
the html form in the client to enter the information of the deployment
descriptior. This succeeded (, or at least didn't complain. If it worked is
yet to be seen ;-). When I tried using the GetAllListings client, I
received
the same error message again.

Caught SOAPException (SOAP-ENV:Client): A
'http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envel
ope/:Fault' element must contain a: 'faultcode' element.

I am using soap 2.1.

The classpath contains:
- soap.jar
- soap examples
- xerces
- javamail jars
- jaf

Right now, I would be thankful, if someone could just point me at, what I
should be looking at. I have this new technology installed, and am not
familiar with what to look at, or how to start debugging. The source code
of
the client seems very simple and nothing strange about it...

Thank you,
HariNam
