[Bug 121573] New: Monetary Punctuation Canada
https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=121573
Bug ID: 121573
Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: Monetary Punctuation Canada
Classification: NLC
Product: native-lang
Version: AOO 3.4.1
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Component: fr
Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
Reporter: concord268@hotmail.com
I use the FRENCH version of OO.
I have attached the language parameters that I have to use to get North
American monetary punctuation in my text. Even if I have selectect CAD $
Anglais
for Maneu by default so I should get THAT punctuation. I have the option of CAD
$ Français but I did NOT select that.
The set-up that I have must be changed everytime I use calandar templates
(Parametre linguistique = Français (Canada))
because I don't get the proper Franch headings. Anyone can help ???

The instrucctions to solved this were accurate, this doesn't seem to be a bug,
also is pretty obsolete.

If I understood correctly, you have chosen the dialog from "Tools" -
"Options...". Under "Language Settings" - "language of" - "Default currency"
you have chosen "CAD $ English (Canada)"
This will apply to every new document you create from now on.

If you are using a template, then the settings are read from that template, and
they have priority over the global settings from the Tools - Options... dialog.
The solution would be to edit the template, save it, and use this edited
template from now on.

I have changed the templates and SAVED them but it doesn't matter, the original
is retained and I get englsih heading anyways.
I had an attachment but it didN't load ????
THe REAL question is : Why doesn't the Money Default of CAD -English work ???
