AuditMojo Error

Hello,
I’ve been running into an issue where my build is failing. I have an Amazon EC2 Linux instance, with latest JDK, and Maven, yet I get the following error: I’ve to adjusted the pom.xml file to update the plugin versions, and all steps on GitHub repo. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

1.) No implementation for org.sonatype.ossindex.maven.common.ComponentReportAssistant was bound.
  while locating org.sonatype.ossindex.maven.plugin.AuditMojo
  at ClassRealm[plugin>org.sonatype.ossindex.maven:ossindex-maven-plugin:3.2.0, parent: jdk.internal.loader.ClassLoaders$AppClassLoader@5cb0d902]
  while locating org.apache.maven.plugin.Mojo annotated with @com.google.inject.name.Named(value=org.sonatype.ossindex.maven:ossindex-maven-plugin:3.2.0:audit)
