Oozie 3.2.0-cdh4.1.2 :credentials is null for the action
Hi Oozie Gurus,
I am new to Oozie 3.2.0-cdh4.1.2. Hadoop version I am working on
is Hadoop 0.20.2-cdh3u1.
When I am trying to submit jobs(Map-reduce action, Java action) in
Oozie, it is scheduling the job. So the job Id is getting created but
the process remains in PREP state.
While Checking the Oozie Job log I found:
“JavaActionExecutor:542 - USER[user1] GROUP[-] TOKEN[]
APP[java-oozie-wf] JOB[0000003-121206171016662-oozie-user-W]
ACTION[0000003-121206171016662-oozie-user-W@java-node] credentials is
null for the action”
Can you please help me in moving ahead from this. :)

Not necessarily - what do your logs indicate right after you try to
submit a job? Sharing your log file/long-snippets over pastebin.com or
so would he helpful for us to diagnose your issue.

Hi Uddipan,
This question is really more of a CDH question, so I've Cc'd the cdh-user
list.
Using Oozie 3.2.0-cdh4.1.2 with Hadoop 0.20.2-cdh3u1 is not supported. You
should try to use the same cdh- version of each product. Specifically, I
recommend that you update your Hadoop to the latest CDH version, cdh4.1.2,
which will match your Oozie version.

This is not the error/cause. Please disregard this message.
Please check your oozie.log file for that time frame. Can you please send some more details from the log file?
