[DISCUSS] beta-3

A few people are clammoring for the script specification fix that's in CVS. Is that reason enough
to roll out a beta-3?

I'm +1 on another release. I'd prefer to not use home-built versions
of our web frameworks unless (and until) there is a problem that needs
fixing.

Given that the CVS version is very stable at this stage in the cycle, I
personally have no issues with just pulling the source out and building
that (which is what I have done), but on the other hand this is hard for
some people (don't know how to do it, or have a firewall at work), so
maybe it's worth it.
