Disable HTML mails
It seems, lately, JIRA is sending mails in HTML. I have my settings set to
Text mails, but seems ot have had no effect. Are text based emails obsolete?
How to have this issue fixed/reported?

p.s.: Pine users would be very annoyed, I'm sure. :-(

I am very used to the fact of having HTML mails for all JIRA systems I work with, so I was happy that ASF suddenly sent them as HTML (funny: I did not even notice).

I agree with ishan -- the new HTML formatted mails to the list are pretty
much impossible for me to read in my mail client.
They are also now about 5X larger then before for a single one line
comment, and the subject formatting is completely broken and no longer
includes the Created/Commented/Resolved/Closed action details.
If it's at all possible to get infra to change this back, then i am
