[jira] Created: (AMQ-2222) New plugin proposal: persistenceDisabledBrokerPlugin

New plugin proposal: persistenceDisabledBrokerPlugin
----------------------------------------------------

                 Key: AMQ-2222
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/activemq/browse/AMQ-2222
             Project: ActiveMQ
          Issue Type: New Feature
          Components: Broker
    Affects Versions: 4.1.3, 5.3.0, 5.4.0, 6.0.0
            Reporter: Jar Lyons
         Attachments: PersistenceDisabledBrokerPlugin.java

Persistent messages, in particular those which end up in a queue that is never consumed, can lead to significant problems operationally.

As a result of these problems in production (e.g. broker eventually stops delivery to consumers ...), I have put together a plugin which completely disables persistence.

I wonder how this is different then disabling the persistence at the broker level
