[jira] [Created] (DISPATCH-1106) Interrouter link name collisions when routers started in same second

Chuck Rolke created DISPATCH-1106:
-------------------------------------

Summary: Interrouter link name collisions when routers started in same second
                 Key: DISPATCH-1106
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DISPATCH-1106
             Project: Qpid Dispatch
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Router Node
    Affects Versions: 1.3.0
            Reporter: Chuck Rolke
            Assignee: Chuck Rolke
             Fix For: 1.4.0

If two routers are started in the same second then they use the same time(0) random seed. Then the routers will use an identical sequence of generated link names.

This is not necessarily illegal from an AMQP point of view but it is confusing and not the intended behavior.
