Tiles 2.0.3 release doubts.
Hi all!
I think that I finished making the 2.0.3 release, but before sending
the first announcement, I have two doubts that I need to clear.
1. I uploaded the distribution files (source and binary) and their
".asc" files, but I noticed that Struts 2 folks uploaded ".md5" too
(in 2.0.7). Should I upload them too?
2. I released the 2.0.2 JIRA version, probably by mistake. Should I
"unrelease" it? Or archive?
After clearing these doubts I will proceed to the announcement.
Thanks in advance
Antonio

I think releasing it is appropriate. Releasing in JIRA basically closes
it out which is what we want to do. The naming is bad since 2.0.2 was
never a release, but a failed test build. I think it's just a matter of
the tool no matching our process 100% and think we should leave it closed.

Yes please. AFAIK, both are required.

Mmm I suppose that I need to redeploy them.

Yes, it is in the "tiles-parent" pom. The problem is that the
"release" profile was not activated. The tiles-assembly module has
signature since I needed to deploy it after the execution of the
release phase, and I forced the "release" profile:
http://issues.apache.org/struts/browse/TILES-148
In Maven's pom they use an additional argument to force the release profile:
http://maven.apache.org/developers/release/releasing.html
I'll upload all the stuff ASAP.
Thanks

Yes, both a checksum and a signature are required.
The Maven artifacts are missing .asc signatures:

Do we have the gpg plugin configured for Tiles?
