   This issue was reviewed as part of the JIRA-migrated backlog triage.
   
   Findings: this describes an incomplete feature, not a bug - a task under the Presto-Hudi connector epic (HUDI-4394). Currently supported: base Presto-Hudi connector functionality. Pending: data skipping based on the record index within the connector.
   
   Keeping open. Will be scoped into a future feature-completion effort.
