[jira] Created: (MYFACES-1051) panelTabbedPane tabs cause page layout problems on mouse hover

panelTabbedPane tabs cause page layout problems on mouse hover
--------------------------------------------------------------

         Key: MYFACES-1051
         URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MYFACES-1051
     Project: MyFaces
        Type: Bug
  Components: Tomahawk
    Versions: 1.1.1
 Environment: Firefox 1.5 on Windows XP
    Reporter: Eric Burke
    Priority: Minor

The defaultStyles.css for panelTabbedPane contains this CSS:

.myFaces_panelTabbedPane_activeHeaderCell input:hover,
.myFaces_panelTabbedPane_inactiveHeaderCell input:hover{
	border-top: orange solid 2px;
}

On IE this has no effect. But on Firefox 1.5, hovering the mouse over a tab causes the 2px orange border to display. This is good, but it causes problems with the rest of the page.

Unfortunately, as the border comes and goes, the *entire page* jitters up and down by 2 pixels. I believe it would be a lot nicer if the layout did not shift and move when the orange tab highlighting is displayed.
