[jira] [Created] (CLOUDSTACK-9926) Divergence between limit of
snapshots in account and recurrent snapshots
Marcelo Lima created CLOUDSTACK-9926:
----------------------------------------
Summary: Divergence between limit of snapshots in account and recurrent snapshots
Key: CLOUDSTACK-9926
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CLOUDSTACK-9926
Project: CloudStack
Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: Public (Anyone can view this level - this is the default.)
Components: Snapshot
Affects Versions: 4.5.2.2, 4.9.2.0
Environment: ACS version: 4.9.2.0 and 4.5.2.2
Hypervisor: XenServer 6.5
Sec Storage: NFS
Pri Storage: NFS and ScaleIO
Reporter: Marcelo Lima
Priority: Minor
I configured a recurrent snapshot to keep 7 snapshots.
If the account have maximun value to 7 snapshots, CloudStack log the error below:
"Snapshot resource limit exceeded for account id : 103. Failed to create recurring snapshots; please use updateResourceLimit to increase the limit"
After set the limit of account to 8, recurring snapshot is ok. After 8 snapshots, coalesce run on the first snapshot and keep 7.
Now I set +1 in all limits of snapshots in accounts based on 'keep' value of recurring snapshots
