Maven genapp issue!

Hi, 
I am new to MAVEN and was using the 1.0 version of it. I downloaded the
maven and set-up all the basics. 

When I am trying to generate the maven application using the maven
genapp command. But seems that its not able to download the file from
the internet and causing the issue. Can we sugget us what to do ?
