yep saxon based, I don't find any other correct xslt2 implementation...
maybe because saxon satisfying most of the peoples... It's "bad" because
xalan have some really goods underlying concepts..

What was really cool and useful for me is regexp and grouping capabilities.

Have you try to install this module? It's work for you ?
I have created a docs folder where I detailed installation instruction and
saxon libs are embedded.
