[users@httpd] Unable to handle kernel paging request - Apache crash?

I'm running Linux 2.4.20 on an Asus A7N8X / AMDXP 2200+ / 1GB DDR 2100.
This server has been very stable the last few months, but recently we
began getting a lot more web traffic. About 1-2 hits per second. It's
running Apache/2.0.45 (Unix) mod_perl/1.99_09 Perl/v5.8.0 mod_ssl/2.0.45
OpenSSL/0.9.6d PHP/4.3.1. It locks the whole machine up. Has anyone seen
anything like this? This is all it displays on the screen:

code: 8b 6d 00 8b 54 24 18 39 53 44 75 7c 8b 44 24 39 43 0c 75
