[Bug 4664] New: "found fetchmail marker, restarting parse" breaks parsing instead
http://issues.apache.org/SpamAssassin/show_bug.cgi?id=4664
Summary: "found fetchmail marker, restarting parse" breaks
parsing instead
Product: Spamassassin
Version: 3.1.0
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: major
Priority: P5
Component: Score Generation
AssignedTo: dev@spamassassin.apache.org
ReportedBy: admin@eregion.de
it seems that when SA 3.1.0 finds a fetchmail header, its supposed to restart
the parsing of received-by headers (which makes sense; everything after
fetchmail can safely be considered local), but from what i see in the debug
output with a mail here, it completely stops parsing of received-by headers
instead (see attached files). This leads to every relay BEFORE the fetchmail
polling as unchecked, and to every mail getting ALL_TRUSTED.

Created an attachment (id=3229)

a zip file with two test mails, one as it was received, the other edited to
swap the fetchmail marker for a ESMTP marker.
compare the output of spamassassin -t -D for the two files to see what i mean.
