samples problem

hi all
i want to run ServletSamples from Velocity examples but i get errors 
when starting tomcat (4.0.3) the problem is with startin the servlet.
how to solve it and hot to run velocity example?
heres what i get when starting tomcat:

2002-07-22 16:26:40 StandardContext[/myapp]: Servlet /myapp threw load() 
exception
javax.servlet.ServletException: Servlet.init() for servlet 
SampleServlet2 threw exception
         at 
org.apache.catalina.core.StandardWrapper.loadServlet(StandardWrapper.java:935)

and so on...


i have instaled the example just like the README.txt in SampleServlet 
says so i guess it should work fine. whats wrong?
