DBCP: Suggested settings and reasons for them.

Hello,

I am moving to the use of DBCP connection pooling.  This means that I have to add the parameters to my SERVER.XML file to configure it.  I would like to know what people would recommend as values for these parameters and why, specially any ones where you are not using the default:

maxWait = -1 (wait indefinitely)
