[jira] [Commented] (DIRAPI-329) Is there a way to connect as read-only?

Stefan Seelmann commented on DIRAPI-329:

Replied in the linked issue. The LDAP API has notmechanism to do this read-only check, it's only implemented in Studio.

> In directory studio GUI, there's a way to check a read-only flag but I'm not able to find in the documentation, what the equivalent API calls are.
> I've submitted a Jira ticket under Directory Studio since Nov, but have yet to receive a response. Perhaps someone here can help?
