I started a dev branch in [5262-wkb-and-geojson|https://github.com/julianhyde/calcite/tree/5262-wkb-and-geojson] (based on work done by [~bchapuis]). Still need tests (in spatial.iq) and documentation (in reference.md).

Do we also need ST_GeomFromEWKT?
