[jira] [Created] (TRAFODION-2058) Support Kerberos when adding
nodes to the cluster
Roberta Marton created TRAFODION-2058:
-----------------------------------------
Summary: Support Kerberos when adding nodes to the cluster
Key: TRAFODION-2058
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TRAFODION-2058
Project: Apache Trafodion
Issue Type: Sub-task
Reporter: Roberta Marton
A feature of Trafodion is the ability to add new nodes to the Trafodion instance without requiring down time. If the cluster is Kerberized, then the new node must have a new Kerberos principal added, a keytab included in the node, and changes to the .bashrc file to init the ticket. If LDAP is enabled, then sqenvcom.sh must include the correct TRAFODION_ENABLE_AUTHENTICATION value and a copy of the LDAP configuration file needs to be in place on $MY_SQROOT/sql/scripts.
