[jira] Commented: (TUSCANY-2877) Introducing a generic Eclipse-BuddyPolicy header for the bundles generated from dependent artifacts would be helpful

Raymond Feng commented on TUSCANY-2877:
---------------------------------------

The patch sets the Eclipse-BuddyPolicy value to "dependent". It's way too open and causing runtime problems in bundle.getResources(). We should default to null or registered. I'll fix it.

> By introducing a configuration variable, we can enable this feature. This would solve the buddy policy requirements for cases like the one I am having now
> 1) one of the bundes dependent on hibernate
> 2) I need the buddy policy to provide the JDBC Driver
> I am providing a patch that works.
> Hope this makes into the source...
