This task is to update the test method(s) in {{replica_scale_test.py}} to support the {{group.protocol}} configuration introduced in [KIP-848|https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/KAFKA/KIP-848%3A+The+Next+Generation+of+the+Consumer+Rebalance+Protocol] by adding an optional {{group_protocol}} argument to the tests and matrixes.
