    Resolution: Won't Fix

Jira is not meant to be used to answer user's questions. Please use the user list for that.

http://maven.apache.org/users/getting-help.html

The name in the repository can't be changed. It's always ${artifactId}-${version} in the case of a SNAPSHOT you usually get the timetstamp + build number (what user name are you talking about? classifier maybe?)

> Hi All,
> I m the new member of jira and want to share my issues with all of you. Can anyone tell me how can i rename the ear file in pom.xml.
> I have tried with finalName attribute of pom.xml but it didn't worked because it takes the default name from remote repository.
> I m getting the name like this: ${artifactId}-${version}-$[timestamp}-${user.name}.
> I didn't get any clue from where this $[timestamp}-${user.name} are comming.
> Please me out on this..
> Thanks,
> Deepak
