Howto use createProcessingInstruction() ?

I am creating a DOM Tree in memory and I don't know how to use the
createProcessingInstruction() of the Document class with Xalan-J.

What is the target parameter in this function ?

I think he means "what does it mean", because I can't figure it out either from just reading the API docs.

I must say that we could use a lot more usage examples in the documentation *grin*
