Character in a Query

Hi,
I'm using Cocoon 1.8 with tomcat 3.2 on Linux Red Hat 6.2.
I'm doing a Query to a Remote Database via JDBC.
That is no problem: i've modified the example taglib.xml.
That's my question: now i've to access to a table where the column names
contain the character:'§' (&sect;).
I've used the entity reference &sect; in the name of the column but I've
got this error:
org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: The entity "sect" was referenced, but not
declared.
What can I do?
