   Thanks @larroy @KellenSunderland @anirudh2290, just found out that the problem was due to using Intel OpenMP rather than the LLVM OpenMP submodule. Upon switching back to using LLVM OpenMP the problem did not occur. I think the problem is effectively avoided since we're not advocating for using Intel OpenMP. 
   
   @TaoLv @pengzhao-intel any interest in seeing MXNet switch to Intel OpenMP and investigating this issue? Are there any perceived benefits?
