[GitHub] [apisix] gaoxingliang opened a new issue, #8829: bug: forward-auth plugin doesn't receive the request
gaoxingliang opened a new issue, #8829:
URL: https://github.com/apache/apisix/issues/8829
### Current Behavior
The forward-auth plugin doesn't receive the request.
I have a endpoint like: https://xx.com/test
and configure the forward-auth logger like below:
```
{
"uri": "https://webhook.site/303ec063-05cc-4c69-a51c-7417ac0766b2",
"request_headers": ["Host"],
"upstream_headers":["X-u"],
"client_headers":["X-t"]
}
```
but I found the apisix SKIPPED the forward auth and send to the backend directly.
### Expected Behavior
It should check the auth
### Error Logs
I checked the apisix log and ingress log. doesn't find anything useful.
### Steps to Reproduce
1. add a route rule with forward-auth plugin enable.
2. check whether the forward-auth receive the requests. you can use https://webhook.site to check whether it receive the requests.
### Environment
- APISIX version (run `apisix version`): 3.1.0
- Operating system (run `uname -a`):
- OpenResty / Nginx version (run `openresty -V` or `nginx -V`):
- etcd version, if relevant (run `curl http://127.0.0.1:9090/v1/server_info`):
- APISIX Dashboard version, if relevant:
- Plugin runner version, for issues related to plugin runners:
- LuaRocks version, for installation issues (run `luarocks --version`):

After checking the confs, I found by default the plugin is not enable in the apisix while it shows available in apisix-dashboard.
After adding the plugin, it worked.
```
plugins: # plugin list
- api-breaker
- authz-keycloak
- basic-auth
- .......
- syslog
- forward-auth
......
