[jira] [Commented] (ACCUMULO-361) Need utility to help recover from
common problems

Corey J. Nolet commented on ACCUMULO-361:
-----------------------------------------
One problem I've had often is when an instance goes into a bad state and I just need to quickly reingest the RFiles from one or more specific tables into a newly initialized instance (on the same cloud). It's a tedious process and could benefit from a tool.

> Need a utility like fsck to automatically recover from issues that occur sometimes. This could be a shell command.
> * detect and fix missing files
> * detect and fix files with missing or bad blocks
