RE: Pipeline issue

In the <map:handle-errors/> pipeline in my sub sitemap, 

1.  I want to display a HTML page when user is not authenticated and trying
to access a bookmarked link
2.  appropriate error message when one of the actions did not work

is there any way we can control these 2 problems. when exception is
processing exception,
I need to display a HTML page. and when exception is something else, I need
to display a error page.

any clues appreciated.
